  • BOOKING QUESTIONS
    Can I deposit money or do I have to pay in full amount? For private tours, 50% of the total amount is required to secure your reservation and remaining balance can be paid in cash on or before the day of travel. For shared tours, non-refundable deposit fee of Php500 per person upon reservation is required and remaining balance must be paid a week before your travel date. Which payment cards do you accept? We transact thru PayPal to secure your payments and process refunds immediately. PayPal accepts all major credit cards from Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. We charge transaction fee for a minimum of 5% of the total amount of the tour. What is your cancellation policy? No cancellation fee applies for cancellations made 48 or more hours in advance. 50% refund of the total amount applies for cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance. In case of no-show or cancellation less than 24 hours before the tour, 100% of the fee will be charged. In the event of cancellation due to an act of nature, bookings will be permitted to be moved to another date (subject to availability). Otherwise, a refund of 75% of your total payment will be issued. 25% of your total payment will be subject to forfeit to cover administrative fees. How can I book? You can book online by filling up the reservation form first and we will contact you as soon as we received your reservation.     Where do day trips meet? Meeting points and times differ depending on which day trip you book, so please check your given itinerary carefully for specific details. Is there a charge for out of town pick-up and drop-off? Yes, we charge a small fee for rountrip transfer outside Dumaguete City Can I book a private tour? All our daytrips from Dumaguete City run exclusively as private tours except for our shared day trips scheduled. The guide will adapt the tour to your preferences and to your pace. You can choose the time to start and place to meet, normally at the lobby of your hotel in Dumaguete. You have a selection of tours in our website, but feel free to contact us at dumagetmetropictours@gmail.com for a customized itinerary. Do you offer shared | join tours? Yes, this allow our guests to save money by sharing tours with other friendly people, and like travel companions. The maximum number of guests per shared tour will be 10 guests. This way our guests will feel more relax and comfortable while on tour. Can I customize my day trip? Yes, our private day trips are completely customizable. Please contact us via phone or email prior to booking if you have special requests as additional costs may apply. Moreover, customizable day trips are not applicable on shared tours. Are walking tours given in bad weather? Tours are held rain or shine. We also provide ponchos in case of sudden weather changes and you do not have your own umbrella. We only cancel our tour in an unlikely event of extreme bad weather. In that case, we will try our best to reschedule your tour or refund. Who will be our tour guide? You will have a local guides with you everyday. They are prepared to take you on a journey to some of the most unique places in Dumaguete City, Cebu, and Siquijor accommodating all your needs. Is food included? Yes, meals are included in all our day trips. Normally, lunch for each day tour while local light -breakfast is optional. What if I am a vegetarian or have food allergies or dietary restrictions? Please let us know if you (or anyone in your group) are a vegetarian or have a dietary restriction when you purchase tickets. We will do our best to accommodate your needs. Is there a dress-code on your day trips? In general, we advise wearing comfortable clothing and shoes that are comfortable to walk in like sneakers or sandals to attend all our tours. On a day tour, you can bring sun glasses, a hat, and sun screen. Do you have underwater camera for rent and floaters? Yes, underwater camera (gopro hero 6) and giant floaters such as watermelon, pineapple, beerpong floaters, and giant swan are all exclusively available for rent for DumaGetMe Tropic Tours guests.

    Where can I get photos and video copies if I rent an underwater camera? You have the options to purchase the USB from us or transfer files via your mobile phones.
